” Worthy”

” Discover Your God Given Worth” – June Hunt –

Work on eliminating negative attitudes and beliefs.

. ” (We) will not hide our feelings and refuse to face them.”

. ” (We) will not wallow in feelings of self-pity.”

. ” (We) will not project our feelings onto others and become critical.”

” Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” (Philippians 4:8)

Obtain a scriptural understanding of having love for ourselves.

. ” (We) are not to love ourselves with conceited love (pride).”

. ” (We) are to love the truth that God loves us and has a purpose for us.”

– Agape love: seeking the highest good of another

-Agape love for ourselves: seeking God’s highest purpose for us.

” The whole law is fulfilled in one word: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”’ (Galatians 5:14)

.Refuse to compare ourselves with others.

.” (We) will not measure ourselves  by what others can do.”

.” (We) will thank God for what He has given us and what He is making of us.”

” Not that we dare to classify or compare ourselves with some of those who are commending themselves.” (2 Corinthians 10:12).

Thank God for His unconditional love for us.

” (We) will choose an attitude of thanksgiving even if we do not feel thankful.”

” (We) will spend personal time with God, thanking Him for His unfalling love.”

” (We) have thought on Your steadfast love, O God.” (Psalm 48:9)

Hope in God’s promise to mold us to be like Christ.

” (We) know that personal growth is a process.”

“(We)know that God is committed to our growth.”

” Those whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son.” (Romans 8:29)

Yield your talents and abilities to helping others.

” (We) will be generous with our God-given gifts.”

“(We) will realize our God-given worth as we focus on others.”

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)

” A New Leaf ”

Tomorrow I’ll turn over a new leaf.

I’ve said that so many times, Lord, that by now I’ve accumulated enough leaves to clothe a tree!

Tomorrow isn’t soon enough. Help me get started today, Lord, help me get started now!

By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idelness of the hands the house droppeth through. Ecclesiastes 10:18
