” Prayer Break “

God is able

” Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. ” Colossians 1:11-15 \0/\0/

No matter how busy I am, I know it is important to take time for a prayer break during the day. This is a sacred time in which I rest my body and renew my soul.

I close my eyes, still my thoughts, and rest in the silence. Audible words are not necessary, because I am filled with an undeniable knowing that I am communing with God.

During these times of rest and relaxation, I hold my attitudes and perceptions up to the light of truth. I let any that do not reflect that truth fade away. Allowing the serenity I receive from being in God’s presence to fill my entire being, I am refreshed and renewed. I leave my prayer break rested and relaxed, focused and rejuvenated.

Resting in the serenity of God’s presence, I am refreshed and renewed.

UNITY

” Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. ” 2 Thessalonians 3:16
